The purpose of this trick is to lock you onto a page until it stops loading. This seems to be based on the extraordinary idea that by forcing you to do this you are more likely to go
to a pay site and buy something. The page is defined as larger than your screen, and is sent to you in this form to prevent you from using the top tool bars and the exit button. It does
no harm and is fairly easy to circumvent. The F11 button allows you to toggle between standard and full screen modes. This should allow you to exit the parge normally. If this doesn't
work, pressing the cntrl-w (control and w key) will close the window. Two other useful keyboard options are alt-F for the file menu and alt-V for the view menu. Pressing the escape key
stops loading at any time. Take this trick as a warning and just leave the site - they may try something else later. This vulnerability has now been removed in Internet Explorer 6 service pack 1.
